Heartfall card game

Modes on the official site

The site lists Ranked, Casual, and Solo, in English and Spanish, and five modes: Standard, Spread the Love, All Inclusive, Power of Love, and Omnibus. Standard means avoid hearts and the Queen of Spades; first to 50 points loses. Omnibus scores the Jack of Diamonds at minus 10. Spread the Love passes one card left, right, or across. All Inclusive penalizes zero-point players 13. Power of Love makes hearts the dominant suit.

Steam app 3867280 lists developer Marcus Imponenti and publisher Fashion Frame, Inc. The page said coming soon, with a free demo at app 4726740. It is 4-player online, needs Steam authentication, supports a gamepad, and lists Windows 10, 2 GB RAM, and 500 MB.

Choosing the correct edition and mode

For a browser card table, the identifying address is playheartfall.com. For the downloadable Steam card game, check app 3867280 and the Marcus Imponenti developer credit. Kazehita's visual novel instead uses app 5257930. A search result containing only Heartfall and Free To Play is not enough to distinguish them: the developer, app number, and screenshot of a card table are stronger identifiers.

Start with Standard if the question is the ordinary scoring objective. Its published rule is to avoid penalty cards, with a first-to-50 losing condition; it is not a race to collect 50 points. The other modes change specific incentives. In Omnibus, the negative Jack of Diamonds score can offset penalties. In All Inclusive, avoiding every point is not automatically safe because a zero-point player receives 13. In Power of Love, the hearts suit has an additional dominant-suit role.

Those are the mode differences the official rules publish, not a complete strategy book or a guaranteed winning sequence. Ranked, Casual, and Solo are play categories rather than three more scoring modes. Check the selected mode before applying advice from an ordinary Hearts guide. The web edition and a coming-soon Steam listing are also different availability claims; a playable web table does not prove that the full Steam release has launched.
