How to download Heartfall
Updated 2026-10-15 · Last checked 2026-10-15
The playable build is the free itch.io release, not Steam. On 15 October 2026 the page listed four v1.01 files and no Android or browser build.
I read the itch.io download table and the Steam system-requirements block on 15 October 2026. The sizes below are copied from that table, not estimated.

Install notes from the official page
Download only from Kazehita's official itch.io page. Extract a ZIP before opening the game; the Windows EXE is listed as not needing extraction. The developer warns that unsigned software may trigger operating-system security alerts. Do not disable system-wide protection or trust an unknown mirror. For macOS, follow the current Gatekeeper instructions linked by the developer. The itch desktop app is a player-recommended alternative, not a separate official game build.
Steam's minimum PC spec, checked on 15 October 2026, is Windows 10, a Ryzen 3 7320U/Ryzen 3 1200 or Core i3-1215U/i3-8100, 6 GB RAM, Radeon 680M/GTX 1050 Ti/Arc A310/Xe 96EU graphics, and 2 GB storage. Recommended RAM is 8 GB. Steam lists an English interface and subtitles, not full audio. These Steam requirements are not a published macOS or Linux minimum specification. No mobile build is listed.
